Blake's 6th Birthday

I was afraid that Blake might turn 7 before I posted this but it here it is...a little late!  July was a busy month for us so it has been hard to keep up with the blogging.  We celebrated Blake's birthday on the 14th, his actual birthday and had his party with friends a few days later at Laser Craze.

Laser tag was actually a lot of fun.  Claire made me go in with her because it was a little scary for a 4 year old.  Ben played the second game with the kids so we all got a chance to try it out.  The adults are pretty big targets since we are a lot taller than the kids but I think they got a kick out of shooting Blake's parents and getting points.

Blake got to choose where he wanted to eat on his birthday and his choice was McDonalds?  We really didn't want to go there but it was his birthday so we went along with it.  This was actually the first time the kids have eaten here which is pretty surprising.  The kids meals have come a long way since we were kids health wise but the food still tasted pretty gross to me!

10 days later it turned into a ninja 36 for Ben's birthday!

The day after Blake's party their newest cousin was born!

He surprised us all showing up 3 weeks early but we were glad we were here when he arrived!

Meet Briggs Hudson Murray!

We had Columbus Crew tickets we bought earlier to celebrate Blake and Ben's birthday so after meeting Briggs we went to the game.  It was a hot one but the kids enjoyed seeing real soccer players.
