Madeline is 8 months

Catching up and even though Madeline is over two weeks past 8 months now, I did actually take these pics when she turned 8 months.  I am trying really hard to keep up with the monthly pictures!

8 months and standing up!  

I think this was her big milestone this month but it has been hard to keep up with this little girl!  It seems like she is kicking it into high gear and hitting milestones every couple of days.  She finally figured out how to crawl with her belly off the floor and now she is fast!  It seems like a few days later she was pulling up on things, creeping along the couch, and climbing up on everything!  We have decided to change her middle name to danger because that is exactly what her mission is lately.  She has no fear and lots of motivation!  She even will try to climb the stairs so we had to put up a gate.  She made it all the way up to the third stair with no help which scared the crap out of me!

She was so proud of herself the day she figured out how to stand in her crib.  I walked into her room and she had a huge smile on her face.  That same day I figured out that when I lowered her crib I didn't lower it all the way!  I had to go back and do it again!  Not fun for me but I thought I better do it before Ms. Danger decides to try and jump out or hurl herself over the edge.

Madeline loves her big bro and sis.  She has learned to wave at them to get their attention.  

She also has figured out how to clap.

Sisters!

We decided to break out the mum mums and see if she could eat them on her own.  We were getting ready for vacation and needed some more options for snacks on the go.  Thankfully she figured out how to eat them pretty quickly and is now a huge fan.  She also decided to grow 2 more teeth during our Michigan trip which was bad timing but we survived.  She now has 4 teeth on top and 3 on the bottom.  She will be ordering off the menu in no time...haha

8 months has been a whirlwind.  

Hopefully she will slow down a bit and just be a baby for a little while longer.
