Xmas....the wait is over

We were counting down the days....waiting, and waiting, and waiting.
It doesn't seem real that just like that it is over?

Otis is still upset that he didn't get a huge carrot like Santa's reindeer.
(Santa's treats had to be relocated shortly after the kids went to sleep)

The kids were super excited this year on xmas morning.  It was fun to see them open their presents and freak out when Santa got them what they asked for.

Blake got Lego Chima from Santa along with many other Lego sets from family.  We have basically been building Legos since Christmas morning.  This kid is obsessed!  I don't know what Lego Chima is exactly but he loves all things Lego!

Claire got her yo-yo!  Actually more than one!

Santa didn't forget about the pug, Otis was pleased to find some treats and a soft, crinkle, squeaky toy!
He was chewing it for so long he got tired and had to take a nap.

The kids ran right to the fireplace to see their presents from Santa and didn't realize that there were family gifts under the tree.  We got a bike for Blake but he didn't notice it until little sister pointed it out.  It was funny to watch and he still thinks it's from Santa...actually everything is from Santa.  It doesn't matter if the tag said from Aunt or Uncle or Grandma or Grandpa or Mom and Dad, Santa is getting all the credit this year.

We tried to get the kids to eat breakfast, Claire decided to go for the breakfast of champions.  Christmas M&M's and a cup of juice.  Blake didn't think breakfast was necessary, he runs on Lego power I guess.

Claire got a play tent from Mom & Dad.  She spent a lot of time hiding in there.  She took all her stuffed animals and toys in there.  I think she was happy to finally have a place of her own.  I was invited in for a tea party and a dance party!

B can't wait to take his bike outside!

Blake has been practicing riding his bike in the apartment during his breaks from playing Legos.

Claire got some duplos so Blake was showing her the ropes.

My favorite picture from Christmas 2013.  I think it sums up how we all felt at the end of the day.

Merry Christmas to all...and to all a good night!
