We decided to make some cookies for Santa yesterday. It is a little stressful making cookies with a 2 year old and a 4 year old but we survived. It is the messiness of playdoh with the added factor of sprinkles and flour! It doesn't help that we have carpet in our dining room in our apartment. We looked past all of that for the fun factor of course. The kids were so excited and very serious about their work. Blake told me "Santa is a really hungry man because he is a really puffy guy!"

Claire said "you can smush your fingers in it see? It's ok to do that mommy!"

These two are so excited for Christmas! They are having a lot of fun counting down the days even though the number of days left until Christmas goes up and down depending on who is in charge of the counting. Two more days turns into three more weeks and then back down to five more days. So fun to watch their excitement about everything Christmas. I am not sure there will be much sleeping from now until the man in red comes. We better stock up on the Starbucks!
