Madeline is 7 Months!

7 months old last week!  She is trying so hard to figure out how to crawl!  She can get around with her army crawl, aka "the human swiffer" as I like to say.  She can get her belly off the floor and rock back and forth but once she wants to go somewhere it is back to the army crawl.  She really wants to join Blake and Claire in whatever they are doing and will listen to where they are and then head that direction.

We have the living room divided into baby land and big kid land.  This is her headed to big kid land.  I say baby no!  Then she gives me a look, puts her head down and high tails it for the other side!  

Not so fast sister!

She is sitting up well these days and doesn't topple over as much.

She sat up for a few pics and then came straight for me!

Blake loves to tell me he is strong enough to pick Madeline up.  I don't really like that idea but as long as she isn't far from the ground it's ok.  Especially when he puts her on his lap to play or read to her.  Gotta love big brother helping out!

Sometimes she gets mad at being told what to do all the time and gets her revenge!

Actually I think she is just really curious...what the heck is this attached to your head?

Claire is getting into the fact that Madeline will one day be into the same things she is.  Maybe even share clothes one day?  Probably more like fight over clothes but I can dream for now!

I couldn't pass up the chance to get them matching pajamas.  I have a feeling there is a small window of time where Claire will think this is cool...haha.

Her favorite toy is a water bottle.  

She enjoys the sounds it makes when you smush it and it keeps you cool on a hot summer day!

She is very engaging, even with strangers.  

At Blake's karate class she looks over my shoulder and tries to make eye contact with someone.  

Once she has their attention she hides a little and then pops back up.  

It's not hard for her to get attention from others with those big baby blue eyes!

She likes to play hide and seek with us and has started to wave hello. 

First time in the swing at the park!  She is a little small still but she loved it!
