Everything is running behind these days and I am sure that will continue for some time now. Here are a few pics from Monday when Madeline was officially 1 week old! Today we took her to the doctor and she is doing great. She weighs 8lbs and is 20.5" long. The doctor said we don't have to bring her back until her 1 month appointment since she is gaining weight like a champ. This is her elephant from Grandma O'Donnell that we are going to use for her monthly pictures, it is super soft!
Since Madeline was born at Ohio State University Hospital they sent her home with her first Brutus doll. They want to make sure you are a buckeye fan from birth I guess!
Madeline is not so sure...I think she is showing Brutus her muscles.
A few things we know for sure so far...
1) she loves a good swaddle
2) she hates diaper changes!
3) she is not fond of a sponge bath
Much better after the bath is over!
Aw, what a cutie! Good work gaining weight, little Madeline. You're looking healthy and strong!
