Yesterday it was so nice out it felt like spring had finally arrived! Blake went to school and then 30 minutes later I got a call that I needed to pick him up because he felt sick. I think someone has learned how to work the system as a 4-1/2 year old! He told the teacher he was going to throw up but then when I got him in the car he asked "can we eat lunch now?". Hmmm...I thought he might really be sick but after 45 minutes on the couch I asked if anyone wanted to go outside and play chalk and he popped up and ran to the door as fast as he could.
I think if I was feeling ill I probably wouldn't be making number lines on the driveway either.

It's ok though Blake...it's only preschool. We can skip a few days here and there.
We even got to enjoy the playground. Blake had fun pushing little sis.
I love this face, she was loving it!
Thankfully we took advantage of the good weather because today it is back to cold and rain/snow.

Looks like Spring has arrived if only for a day. Glad the kids got to enjoy it. They have a really nice Mom!

I'm with you, a child goes to school for so many years of their life, what's a day off now and then? Especially if he can enjoy it outside in the playground with his Mom and little sister. We have had the worse winter ever anyhow.
