After many weeks of working on our master bathroom we finally have a mirror and working lights!  It was a little frustrating to say the least but it is done and now we can actually use it!  I am sure we saved money doing it ourselves just took a bit longer than we expected.  Here are some progress photos...

This is what it looked like when we bought the house.  They removed the old ugly mirror and lights but never actually replaced them since it was an estate.  We didn't mind because we thought it was better if we could pick out something we liked anyway.

Once we moved in we realized the hole for the medicine cabinet was too small so we bought some tools and made it bigger ourselves.  This turned into a mess with all the dust and cutting but in the end we had a nice looking hole.  We ordered and installed the lights and waited for the medicine cabinet to arrive.  Unfortunately the medicine cabinet was on back order and then showed up broken so we had to send it back.  So basically we have been looking at this hole in the wall for quite some time now.  Yesterday the mirror finally arrived and it felt like Christmas!

Complete at last!

and much needed storage!

Now onto the next project!  

I think it might involve cutting a box spring to get it up the stairs...this should be interesting!
