Moving Out

A few nights ago Blake declared that he was moving out of the room he was sharing with his sister and into his own room!  We were shocked but knew this day would come at some point.  When we moved into this house a month ago we set up a bedroom for each of them knowing that they probably would still want to be in the same room.  

Blake even put up some ninja turtle wall stickers a while ago but continued to sleep in the other bedroom with Claire.  After Blake had his bedding moved into his "new" room Claire looked a little sad.  After a minute of sadness she decided that she was moving out of her room also....into Blake's new room!  It was funny to watch her excitement when she came up with this solution.  Luckily she has a great big brother who was fine with this idea as long as she followed two rules.  

1) she can't sleep in the bed with the ninja turtle stickers and 

2) she has to move out if he wants to have a friend sleep over 

(he has never had a sleep over but he is planning to in the future I guess)

So now they are still sharing a room, just a different room and are still best buds!

(We even hung up real curtains this weekend, the green ones in this pic were a temporary solution when we moved in)
