I am way behind on posting pics so here is a quick round up of what has been going on lately. We are finally settled in our new place in Columbus. A few boxes still need to be unpacked but for the most part we are starting to function here. It was a crazy couple of weeks closing on the house, moving into a bed and breakfast for 4 days and then driving to Columbus. A lot of eating out and restless nights with kids kicking us in the back and falling out of hotel beds! We slept on the floor for two nights when we arrived in our new place and then our moving truck arrived with all of our furniture and belongings. The kids have done really well so far considering all the changes and craziness of moving. We haven't seen a lot of the city yet but did go to the 4th of July Parade in one of the suburbs and yesterday took the kids to the zoo so we could all get out and have some fun. The zoo was so big we hardly saw any of it. Decided to get the family plus membership because we know we will be there a lot! The membership includes two guests for free so hopefully we can take many of you with us when you are here to visit!
Breakfast at a local French Bistro where Blake quickly became a local artist.
Had a picnic at a local park, so far we have found two great playgrounds!
We went to the biggest Giant Eagle (grocery store) we have ever seen.
So excited to be in a state where you can buy your beer with your groceries!
The place where we are renting has a pool so Grandma Murray was helping the kids get used to the water. They both had a great time! Big thanks to Grandma Murray for helping us move!
We don't know what we would have done without her!
Blake visited Uncle Joe at work one day with Grandma, he was so excited!
4th of July Parade!
The Zoo!
Yelling at the Polar Bears.
The zoo had a special dinosaur exhibit and ride so that took up a lot of our zoo trip, we will have to go back to see more animals. Seems like a great zoo though with a lot to explore!
Blake loved the dinosaurs!
Boat ride around "Dinosaur Island"
to be continued....

Glad all went well . . . Columbus looks very interesting! And it's good to have you closer to Chicago!
