We had Grandma O'Donnell and Aunt Carolyn here this weekend and enjoyed some pre Christmas activities. I think the cookie making was the highlight for the kids.
Two kids and lots of sprinkles! Blake proved you can never have too many on one cookie.
Blake was a little confused by the cookie prep.
He said "Aunt Carolyn, why are you making a mess!"
Grandma and Chef Blake were in charge of the cookies that required frosting.
Claire had to sneak in a few sprinkles for herself in between putting some on the cookies.
Ta Da!
Moving the cookies to the baking sheet was a little tricky,
Claire would pick up the stars from only one of the points.
The kids opened some early Christmas presents from Grandma and Aunt Carolyn.
Claire got a stroller for her dolly and had to test it out right away.
Somehow I don't have a picture of Blake playing the Angry Birds game he got from Aunt Carolyn. I don't think he has stopped playing it since the box was opened!
I just think this picture is funny.
One morning Claire reminded me of the little girl from The Grinch Stole Christmas.
One night we went to federal hill to partake in some christmas activities with the kids.
They got to decorate gingerbread and then Blake got his face painted.
He could hardly hold still, he thought it tickled.
The finished product, a little hard to see.
He requested rudolph and was so excited to see it in the mirror!
Wow! You guys are having so much Christmas fun already! Will you send a few of those delicious looking cookies down to Austin, so I can taste them? I love all the frosting and sprinkles!
