There was a lot of build up to Christmas this year. I know that every year has some build up as we all count down the days but this was the first year that Blake actually had some sense of time and realized it was in a few days, or weeks, or something like that. I think it went from 5 days, to 4 days, and then Santa was coming in 5 days again. Anyway, we had to set up the camera to see his reaction to Christmas Day and all the presents. We both enjoyed watching him get excited when he got what he asked Santa for! Claire was just following Blake's lead, she was too cute!
I really tried not to take too many pictures, I wanted to just enjoy watching them open presents and get excited. Here are a few funny moments before I put the camera down.
Claire saw how excited Blake got when he saw Woody so she had to snatch it as soon as he turned his back! This didn't go over so well with Blake!
Claire didn't really care about the presents that Santa left, she was more concerned with the fact that the milk glass was empty! Can someone fill this back up please!
She did finally see the doggie that Santa left her and got excited.
Don't worry, Santa left Otis something too! He chewed on his toy all morning while we opened gifts.
Claire also got a new doll from Santa and decided to take a few of her pals for a ride!
She kept trying to get in the stroller with them but she couldn't quite figure it out.
We had a great Christmas!
I think Woody and Blake will be friends for a long time to come!
