Just want to let you know we are ok over here. Irene was much worse than Sandy to our neighborhood. We didn't lose power, just our internet. Only minor damage to our fence in the backyard. We were carving pumpkins inside during the storm and heard a huge thump. Opened the back door and saw that a huge pine tree fell. It was our neighbors tree from two doors down. It was so tall that it covered two lots and the very top of it was resting on our fence. We feel very lucky that it fell without damaging anyone's house. Here is the pic I took from our upstairs window. The tree was as tall as the two that remain standing.
