The Great Pumpkin

We ventured out to the giant pumpkin weigh off today in Warren, RI.  This place is the smallest town in the smallest state but is known for a giant pumpkin weigh off?  We had to go see what it was all about.  We saw some of the pumpkins getting weighed in which was pretty cool but the kids weren't exactly excited about it so we didn't stick around to see who won.  Blake was more interested in finding Charlie Brown's pumpkin patch and going into the corn maze.  I think this is the start of many trips to farms for us this fall!  Not sure why Blake is making what appears to be the Texas longhorns hand gesture in this picture?  Doesn't he know that his mama went to Kansas State?

Claire just wanted to pick up all the pumpkins and show off her super baby strength.

She even had to pick up a pumpkin up for her pick with "Chuck"

Then it was time to sit in the pumpkin patch and wait for the great pumpkin to appear........

Thankfully it wasn't Halloween night so we just had to pretend for a few minutes!
