11 months old!

Today Claire is 11 months old!  Sometimes I forget that she is only 11 months old when I am putting on her size 24 month shirts.  I really think the people who make baby clothes need to do a better job of sizing things.  I know she is a big baby but she isn't the size of a two year old!  Her favorite activity this month has to be climbing the stairs.  She loves to do it and can make it all the way to the top by herself (with someone following closely behind of course).  It makes her very mad if you pull her off the stairs mid journey, she throws quite a fit!  

She is starting to like dolls and other stuffed animals a bit more, she will even wave to dolls or anything with a face at the toy store.  Waving and clapping are the two favorite ways to communicate at the moment.  If anyone says yeah! or sings a song with the word clap she is right on it.  I think she is proud of herself for figuring that word out and wants to join right in when she has the chance.

Claire loves to share with her brother.  She picks up food or toys and hands them to him and repeats this until all the food or toys nearby are gone.  I forgot my stroller the other day and had to rent a mall stroller.  Sorry about the grainy cell phone pic but it was too cute!  They were having so much fun in this thing.  I think Blake thought he was on a ride and Claire just loved that she could poke her brother and he couldn't get her back!

Grandma Murray is in town so we went out to lunch to celebrate Grandma's birthday and Claire's 11 month birthday.  The weather was nice so we got to eat outside!  

Claire loves to be outside.

We ate at Iggy's which is right on the beach so Blake got to dig in the sand which made his day!

One more month till the big 1!
