10 Months Old

Somehow our little baby is already 10 months old!  

I think the theme for this month has been go go go!  Claire is constantly on the move and it is hard to keep up with her.  She finds the cozy coupe and uses it to get across the room.  She squeals as she pushes it and tries to go as fast as possible to keep up with Blake.

She is always on the go and recently decided that naps don't have to be two hours long in the afternoon.  Somehow she thinks that she doesn't have to sleep as long as her big brother and wakes up after only 45 minutes or an hour of sleep.  I guess she has too many things to do to waste time with silly naps.

Sometimes she doesn't want to sleep so she plays a little and just sleeps in whatever position she ends up in.  I have to go move her into a normal sleeping position so she doesn't nap like this!  

That can't be comfortable!

She is still our little librarian, constantly emptying out the bookcase any time she has the chance.

Big brother Blake is showing her how to do all kinds of things, good and bad.  His new thing is to hold her hand and say "look mommy...we're friends!"  how cute is that?

Claire got jealous of Blake's big cup so she decided she needs one just like his.  

She wants to do everything just like big brother.

She hasn't really figured out what a doll is yet, she has moved on from trying to pull the hair out and now just wants to eat it.  Instead of giving it a hug she body slams it on the floor and crawls over it.  Maybe that's what happens when you have an older brother instead of an older sister?

She is not steady on her feet yet but with all of this practicing she might be ready to let go in a few weeks.  She likes to let go with one hand and wave which freaks me out of course.  She is a total daddy's girl so if Ben is nearby she will do anything to get over to him or get his attention.
