We bundled the kids up and drove our one-horse-open-sleigh (cars with child seats) over to Santa's workshop (the mall) to tell the big man (no exaggeration) what to bring for Christmas. Santa was quite jolly, and when asked, Blake simply said he wants "toys." It was actually a lot of fun, Blake learned how to ride the escalator, which he just about walked onto by himself. He announced that he was Corduroy looking for his lost button as we rode up and down about 8 times; of course, each time we neared the top or bottom, I was made aware that we were "almost there!" Since both kids almost smiled for the picture, I would bet that Santa will be delivering exactly what they (well Blake at least) asked for...toys!
