8 months old and Claire seems to be on the fast track to becoming a toddler. We had to retire the infant car seat and get her a car seat like Blake's. No more carrying around the 20+ pound baby in the bucket! I am relieved in some ways but this now adds some new challenges to our routine.
She has recently learned to pull herself up on things and now she can't get enough of it. She tries to pull up on anything nearby and has no fear of failure which scares us a little. She has taken a few tumbles but usually bounces back with a smile. Her teeth are popping up like crazy which has disturbed her sleeping a bit. She has 8 teeth now and is working on number 9.
Claire loves to play peek a boo and picks up anything to try and get someone to play it with her.
Who needs baby toys when you have a pug to play with? Claire loves to crawl over to Otis's bed.
Otis doesn't mind too much until she starts to try and pet him.
I think he has heard the rumor that she loves to pull hair!
What a funny little girl you are! Can't wait to see what you do next!
What a great little grand niece! Grand Uncle Arn says she is a force of nature. I think she'll be running marathons by the end of May.
