Blake decided to sleep in his big boy bed last night for the first time. When we set up the bed last week we were thinking it would take him a while to get used to the idea of a bed. I was thinking he would have months to decide when to make the switch. I never thought he would want to sleep there after it being in the room for a few days. He insisted on sleeping there which kind of surprised me. It took him a little longer to fall asleep, I thought maybe he would rather sleep in his crib but when I tried to move him into his crib he cried and pointed to his big boy bed. Of course he chooses to try this out on a night when Ben is working the night shift. Luckily he only woke up once during the night. This morning I went into his room and discovered a happy boy with a crazy hairdo! I think he was very proud of himself for sleeping in a bed. He then decided he wanted pancakes for breakfast. It is hard to believe but this little guy ate 11 mini eggo pancakes and a banana before deciding he was all done!
