35 Weeks Pregnant

It has been a while since we updated the blog. Things have been really hectic with finalizing the purchase of our house and moving into our house last weekend. The house is a 3 bedroom cape that is literally 4 minutes from my work and about 10 minutes from the hospital that Ben works at. The commute has been really nice, no more highway driving in the morning! It has a two car garage which we love and I am sure will be even more of a great thing when the baby arrives and we won't have to struggle with the car seat out in the elements. We are still in the process of unpacking and trying to paint the nursery at the same time. I am 35 weeks today and starting to feel that time is quickly running out! I am also starting to feel large these days. We took an all day childbirth class this past weekend which was fun and made us both feel a little more confident that everything will be ok. Otis is adjusting to his new life with a backyard. He enjoys not having to be on the leash all the time. We have already been welcomed to the neighborhood by many of the people that live around us, one older couple even stopped by with a little map of our block with the names of all the neighbors on it. I guess everyone knows everyone around here! We also discovered that another resident in Ben's program just moved in to a house a few doors down from us. The baby shower is this weekend and we are looking forward to seeing some family and friends who are able to make it. We wish you could all be here with us, we will post some pics of the shower festivities afterwards!
