37 Weeks Pregnant

So yesterday marked 37 weeks which I guess is considered "full term" but I'm hoping that the baby stays in there a few more weeks because we have a lot left to do to prepare! We finished painting the nursery last week which helped me with my "nesting". Tomorrow the crib arrives which will make the room feel more like a nursery and probably make us feel like the baby is coming sooner than we think! We bought some essential baby things this weekend, we actually have diapers now. I didn't realize how small newborn diapers are! I guess I've never changed a baby that small before. We took a picture with Otis and the tiny diaper to show how tiny they are. I also thought maybe it would be a good idea for him to see what the scent of them is since the baby will be wearing them. Tonight I went to my last prenatal yoga class. I think 37 weeks is a good time to stop although I will miss it. I remember when I started yoga and couldn't believe that a woman who was 30 weeks was there. I never thought I would still be doing it at 37 weeks but somehow I made it. I am sure I will continue to use the techniques and poses I learned for the next few weeks to relax and eventually deal with contractions. Tomorrow I have another doctor's appointment, I feel like I was just there. I have to go every week now until the baby is born. I can't believe how soon the baby will be here!
