Weighing in at...

12 pounds 3 ounces! Today was Blake's 2 month doctor visit and he tipped the scale once again. He has also grown another 2 inches taller. He was doing great at the doctor until it was time for his shots, he didn't like that part. He held my finger while he was getting the shots but I'm not sure that it helped. He had three shots today and one vaccine that was given orally. After the shots he fell asleep in his car seat and slept all the way home. He was a trooper and was doing great until about 5 o'clock when I think the pain kicked in from the shots so we had to give him some infant tylenol. He is doing much better now but his little chubby legs are slightly red where he had the shots, poor little guy.

1 Month Doctor Visit

Today we took Blake to the doctor for his one month visit. We were excited to see how much he would weigh and how much he had grown. I think we were both pretty shocked when they put him on the scale and he weighed in at 9 lbs. 5oz.! Is that possible? We both thought he would be a little over 8 lbs. so we couldn't believe it when they told us. He has also grown to 20-3/4". The doctor said he looks good and everything is fine. We took a picture of him in his new rocking chair, we are going to try and do this every month to see how he changes month to month.
