Madeline is 2!

Madeline is 2!  Can you tell she is very happy about it?

The theme this year was Team Umizoomi (cartoon on Nick Jr.).

This was a last minute change because for a while I really thought she wanted Teletubbies.  She has been obsessed with Teletubbies for a while but I guess after Halloween and living out her dream of becoming a teletubby she decided to move on.

Ok, back to the party!  I decided to call it "Birthsgiving", the day that Madeline was born fell on Thanksgiving this year so we had to do both in one day!  Thankfully this won't happen every year, it was a lot to squeeze into one day and I think we all were pretty stuffed by midnight!

We were lucky that Grandma O'Donnell and Dan, Shan, and Owen made the trip to Ohio to celebrate with us!  This is the whole crew doing the Turkey Trot in Upper Arlington!

The kids got medals for the kids race.

We had to squeeze in the Birthday donuts after the race!

These two cousins had a great time playing together for a few days.

So fun to watch them try and communicate.

There is a lot to say about this little girl but I will try to summarize as best as possible!

She loves copying her big sister and decided if Claire could play guitar, she could to!

She is a lover of animals, real or stuffed!  I tried to shop for a gift for someone else and this is what she was doing while I looked around.  She was trying to purchase every animal in the store!

Blake's friend has a pet rabbit, guess who was first to go right up and pick it up?

She does the same thing with my friends cats, no fear!

We decided now that she is 2 she really needs her own set of wheels for our family walks. 

There is no way she could make it around the block on a tricycle yet so she is riding in this fun push car.  She loves pretending to drive and honking the horn.  She can even bring her cats!  Ben is not so thrilled with her obsession with Cats...haha.

Madeline is our little climber (again, no fear).  She climbs her play house, benches, couches, anything at the playground no matter how high.  Her middle name really should have been "Danger" because she scares the crap out of us pretty often.  I guess when you are a third child you just have to keep up!  Luckily I am doing a gymnastics class with her once a week which she loves!  The perfect class for a girl who loves to bounce and climb!  The only problem is when she tried to do "seat drops" on our wood floor...ouch!

She didn't want to be in this picture but after Blake and Claire posed she jumped right in and showed everyone that she could do it just like them!

Looking back on two years it has gone fast and slow at the same time.

Trying our best to enjoy the ride!  She definitely keeps us on our toes!
