The past month has been a busy one in many ways. Madeline has two teeth now and still enjoys putting her feet in her mouth...ouch! She will also grab your hand and chew on your finger or whatever she can get a hold of so watch out! The chewing on everything hasn't stopped so I'm sure there are more teeth ready to pop. Just like our other two kids they like to get multiple teeth at once. She can sit up with a little help, hopefully soon she will be able to do it on her own!
The day after mother's day we decided to move Madeline into her room and into her crib. This is always bittersweet for us but it was time for her to get used to sleeping in her own space. She didn't have any issues and is still sleeping like a champ. We've only had to get up a few times to give her her nuk back or help her when she rolls into the side of the crib and can't roll all the way over. Even though we put her to bed on her back she loves to sleep on her stomach and sometimes doesn't turn her head so she ends up with a red dot on her face in the morning. I remember Blake and Claire doing the same thing...how is that comfortable?
She has gotten a lot better with letting other people hold her which is a big relief! My arms need a break once in a while! We went to the doctor yesterday and she is now 20lbs. 8oz and 25-3/4" long! Funny how similar she is to Claire at 6 months! I guess they are sisters! She enjoys being outside and watching the kids play. We have to make sure we have a hat though to cover that head that still doesn't have much hair!
Madeline loves Claire's doll houses and I am sure they will have lots of fun playing with them in the future. For now she just grabs on and tries to chew on them.
Another first this month....first tornado siren! We all hunkered down in the basement for a little while. A little stressful at first until we discovered that Madeline thought it was really funny to see Blake play basketball! My favorite video of her so far!

Happy 6th-Month Birthday, Madeline! You sure are a cutie and you sure are growing up fast! Glad you survived the tornado (!) and had such a fun time laughing! Hope to see you soon.
