Catching Up!

So when I posted about Madeline turning 3 months old I realized I missed a bunch of things that happened in between.  It is hard to keep track of 3 kids all doing so much!  I usually only have time to take pics with my ipod, I really need to try and get the real camera out more.  I also am starting to realize most of my ipod pics are of the baby because she is the only one that can't run away from me!  Anyway, a few highlights of the last month or so...

Otis turned 9!

Can you believe it?  Still as sassy as ever and loves his carrots!

Claire dressed up for her Valentine party at school and actually let me tie up her hair so I had to take a pic.  The moments when she wants her hair done are few and far between so I get excited when she is excited about it.  She is starting to really like wearing dresses to school and is more into "girly" things than she was before.  I think it is because she is at preschool now with other girls and not at home playing ninja turtles with her brother all day...haha.  She does still love the turtles though!

Ben got this yummy Valentine gift for me!  I think Claire and I split it about 50/50.  

That girl loves fruit!

We have been stuck inside a lot since it was super cold.  We even had a few days off of school so I decided to do some home schooling.  Basically making cookies was our "science" project.  They both loved baking and mixing...and eating them of course.

I tried to get Blake to practice writing his snap words.  He didn't want to do it until I made it into a game of course.  He loves anything that has something to do with numbers!  

Then C got jealous so I had to make her an ABC version.

Blake has been getting so good at reading and writing lately.  We are surprised at how much he has learned this year.  One night when we told him it was time to go upstairs he quickly ran away and came back with this message for us....

Blake passed another belt test in Karate.  

He moved up to the Power Dragons and now has sparring gear!

Look out, I think we are all in trouble now...or better protected from the bad guys?

We are all sick of the cold and are very excited for spring!

Grandma made me this cute hat...she forgot my head is in the 90th percentile! 

I thought it would fit ok so I just put it on her one day before heading out to get the kids at school.

When we got out of the car this is what it looked like!  I couldn't stop laughing at her face.

When B got in the car he said "hello baby with a crazy hat on!", I had no idea what he was talking about until we got home...haha.

This is a roller coaster that Claire made for Blake at school.  The teacher said it took her a long time!

This is a snowsuit from Grandma and Grandpa Murray.  Super warm and cozy!

It kind of reminds me of a Christmas Story when the kid doesn't want to wear the bunny suit?
