3 months old and couldn't be happier! Madeline is a happy little baby and when she smiles at you everything else just fades away. Really, how can you have a bad day when you see this smile looking up at you? She celebrated 3 months by having a few diaper blow outs and spitting up all over my sweatshirt. I think she just wanted to have a few costume changes for her 3 month pictures. She is getting chubbier by the minute but I don't seem to notice as much as everyone else since I am with her all day. She definitely has some cheeks and is growing out of 3 month clothes.
Claire has discovered that one of her toys makes Madeline really happy. Whenever the baby is crying and we can't figure out what is wrong, Claire runs to get "huggy monkey" as she calls him. It makes everything better for some reason. Glad I have my mini mom to help me out!
Claire tells me almost every day that she wishes she was a mommy...haha.
She loves taking care of her little sister!
Madeline is very interested in her hands. She is slowly figuring out that they are useful to hold onto things...like huggy monkey! Sometimes she just sits and stares at them. It looks like she is trying to talk them into doing what she wants them to do. This month she is very vocal and making all sorts of new sounds. We have figured out her "fake cry" that she does during dinner. Nothing is wrong, she just wants someone to pick her up so she can sit and watch us all eat. She is very interested in observing everything around her. I wish I knew what she is thinking about!
She really enjoys tummy time but just holding her head up isn't good enough anymore. She really wants to figure out how to move. She is constantly turning her head and kicking her little legs trying to roll over. Once I give her a little help she makes it to her tummy and then starts trying to crawl. Slow down sister! You have plenty of time to figure it out!
Blake wanted his picture with the baby too!
A little smirk this time instead of the look of fear like last month!
I think that is about all I can this of! This mommy brain is making it hard to remember it all!
One last pic of the silly big sister!

Thanks, Caroline. She gets cuter by the minute! What a big girl! And it's really fun to see the kids with her. Give her a hug from me.
