39 Weeks

So in case you were wondering what 39 weeks looks like here it is!  I'd like to say the stripes make it look bigger but at this point I really do feel huge.  The baby could come anytime now so I am starting to get a little nervous about when and how it is going to decide to come into the world.  I really hope it comes during normal business hours and not at 3am.  Blake and Claire both came in the evening but not too late and I think that worked out great so I hope this one follows that pattern.  

Sleeping is getting a little difficult but I do still manage to fall asleep off and on.  My hips hurt after laying on my side for a while so I have to keep flipping from side to side.  I also have some contractions at night usually which freaks me out and I lay there wondering is this happening?  Is this baby coming now?  Which doesn't help with falling asleep!  Ben says I have "the slant" which means baby is dropping.  I do feel more pressure and have been waddling more so he is probably right.

My next doctor appointment is Thursday but I kind of hope the baby is here by then.  If not we will keep waiting because being induced doesn't sound appealing to me at all.  Maybe I will change my mind if I am still pregnant at 40 weeks.  We are excited to meet our new baby and see if it is a boy or girl!  The 50/50 boy/girl ratio at our house is about to change!
