Disney World!

It has taken me a while to post these, we have had a busy summer!  Here are some pics from our trip to Disney World.  The kids were so excited about everything and loved every minute.  Claire was really into the characters and Blake just wanted to get daddy on a roller coaster as soon as possible!

Claire decided she needed to hit the ground running once we got there so she fell asleep on the plane.  I think she is the only person I know who can sleep through a plane landing.

As soon as we entered the airport we had to high five the first Mickey we saw!

We checked in and got our bands and we were ready to go!

Our hotel had a little beach.  You couldn't go in the water but the kids didn't care.

We took a boat to and from the Magic Kingdom, I think this was the best way to travel!

Claire usually used the boat ride back from the park to take naps.  

Had to squeeze them in whenever we could!

I think the first ride we went on, or one of the first.  Teacups!

Dumbo was a favorite.  Claire screamed the first time we got on and I felt like a horrible parent because I wouldn't let her get off but once it started flying she had a huge smile on her face.  After that she wanted to go on again and again!

Blake liked being the pilot and making it go up and down.  It was a little jerky because he liked to change it up a lot.  I was thankful to be back on the ground!

The Buzz Lightyear ride was another one they liked.  I think we rode it 3 times!

Sometimes Blake and daddy went on big kid rides and Claire and I had to find something else to do.  Claire decided to ride the carousel which she decided she hated once it started moving.  

I think it went up too high because every time we walked by it after this she said "I'm not going on that crazy thing again!"

We also decided to go meet Minnie while the boys did their own thing.  Claire was so excited!

Blake and daddy waited in line for the barnstormer.  I had to get a picture to prove that daddy actually went on a roller coaster.  It is actually a "junior coaster" but I think that counts.  Ben thought Blake was going to hate it but at the end he told him how awesome he thought it was.  I guess we have a future roller coaster lover in the family!

I didn't have a camera so I only have ipod pictures which aren't the best.  This was at night when we were watching the electrical parade.  The kids had to sit on top of a garbage can to see.  There were tons of people everywhere!

We learned our lesson when we met Aerial by mistake.  Always know what you are in line for!  We thought we got in line for the little mermaid ride and after waiting for about 30 minutes we discovered it was a character visit.  Thankfully Claire was into it, Blake just stood there and then we left and found the actual ride.

We did the park for two days and that was plenty!  We were ready to sit back and relax by the pool!

Housekeeping had a sense of humor and liked to set up their animals in different positions every day.  This time they were all reading a Ninja Turtles book.

I think we took every form of transportation on this trip.  Plane, car, bus, and boat.  I think the bus to downtown disney was a favorite.  By the end of the trip they were both travel pros.

Blake and Ben made a car for the race at the Lego store.  Blake was in heaven.  

He could have stayed there all day!

He was so proud when his "car" won the race!

We celebrated with lunch at Dino Cafe.  There is a meteor shower every 20 minutes and the dinosaurs are "alive" so watch out!  Claire was scared to walk to the bathroom!

They each picked out their own ears.  I think they are hooked on Disney and ready to go back!
