Last week we started Squeaky Sneakers or as Blake calls it "Soccer School". We needed an activity to use up some of Blake's endless energy and I think we found it. He absolutely loves it and it is hilarious to watch. There is no actual game of course, just a bunch of activities with balls and cones and other sports items but to him it is the real deal. He even asked to wear his soccer guy outfit that he got handed down to him from his cousin Matthew. I am sure the other parents thought I was totally nuts when Blake walked out on the field in his warm ups but that's ok. He calls himself soccer guy when he is there and now every time we get in the car he asks to go to soccer school. Here is the video highlight reel...the lighting was horrible for pictures but the video was better so I tried that instead.
Sitting in the circle, I think Blake took that literally when he decided to plop down in the middle.
He asked for his water right away, what a workout!
Of course no soccer school is complete without a coloring page to bring home!
I always loved to watch the kids play soccer too. It was great entertainment for the parents, whether or not the kids liked playing (a.k.a. Ben).
