Claire is 5 Months Old!

5 months already?  I feel like I say that every month but it is hard to believe it has been 5 months since Claire came home from the hospital.  She isn't crawling away from us yet but she does try when she has the chance.  She can push with her legs but hasn't figured out how to use her arms yet so she ends up pushing her face along the blanket which can't feel that good.

As with our first child she has decided that teeth are more important than hair.  Her first tooth is starting to pop out and it looks like a second tooth will be out very soon.  She is chewing on everything that she can get her hands on and will use her hand or mine if nothing else is nearby.  I didn't mind until I felt that tooth...ouch!

Claire likes to sit up but can't do it on her own yet.  I had to stop between pictures so she didn't topple over!  I think she thought it was pretty fun to sit up on her own.  Even if it was only for a few seconds.

She loves to laugh and make funny faces.  How lucky we are to have this happy baby girl!
