We took Blake to a new park today, it was a little hot so we took multiple water breaks. I think he had fun exploring, the park was big, especially when you are just a little guy!

On Monday we went to the Science Museum in Boston with some friends who also have a 1 year old. Monday was a Rhode Island Holiday so we had the day off. We forgot the camera but I took a few pics with my phone. Blake was having a blast running around and playing with his friend Audrey. There are more pics on the Parente Family Blog (see link on the left side), they actually brought their camera!
His favorite was this water mountain with plastic fish floating in it. He liked to catch them as they came down the stream. We tried to take him to other areas but he kept running back to splash in the water.

Somehow he still had energy to play with his toys when we got back home. I guess it helps when you take a nap in the car. Ben and I had to get Starbucks on the way home just to make it through the rest of the day. A day at the museum can really wear you out!
Looks like Blake's taking after his Uncle Arn with his interest in museums. We're glad Blake likes his little farm set, too.
