Grandpa came by this last week for a quick visit. Blake had a lot of fun showing him around Providence, and I had a lot of fun working. It all worked out pretty well though, we got to go out to eat at the Irish Pub in Pawtuxet village one night, and then got to cook up one of the local delicacies, sword fish the next night. We picked lots of tomatoes from the back yard garden; Blake and Otis were fascinated by the corn on the cob, although I'm not sure either realized it was edible.
Of course, it got to be really hot and humid, so we filled up Blake's outside table with water to see if he'd think it was fun. Turns out he loves splashing water whether he's in the bath or not!
