Well, the blizzard took a while to get going, but it was all that the weathermen predicted. I haven't heard anything official yet, but NPR said parts of RI got over 2 feet, nearby I heard 22 inches, thankfully it's quite light and easy to shovel. Otis, not much of an outdoorsmen, didn't know what to do today, he kept running to find snow that wasn't over his head. He does like the snow, but it takes him a while to figure out what it is, and then his natural reaction of course is to eat it. I guess the upside of a sore back is a white Christmas!

I'm sure you're counting down the days until Blake is old enough to shovel with you... Then you can take a pic together high fiving in front of a snow-free driveway.
ReplyDeleteI have that same shovel! I think I bought it at my Ace Hardware, where else? Thank god that your garage is in front of your house! Poor Otis--he really can't get a grasp on this stuff. Carolyn and Daniel did the high five thing the last time they shoveled here. Love,
