Hi everybody and Happy Mother's Day! Obviously we had some beautiful weather today, so we took advantage and went for a hike down a new trail. Or as Caroline likes to say, you take the big girl out and walk her! It was actually very popular and we could see why when we got to the end. The path to the beach was mainly tree covered, so Otis wasn't overheating, which is always crucial. At the end there was a nice beach, albeit a rocky one, but we had fun and it's one of the few times that Otis can enjoy the beach too! According to a book at Borders that gave me the idea for the hike, during the later winter months there are seals that like to bask out on an outcropping of rocks nearby. You do need binocs to see them, so we had no clue if they were there today, probably not. What we did see, were the two ticks that Otis picked up along the way, after a thorough tick check, everyone (including Otis) got the all clear! Of course we shot a picture of Caroline's bump, tomorrow she is 30 weeks, aahhhh! We're going to Colorado later this week, which should be an adventure.
