2 Year Visit

Monday was the first ever Mommy and Claire day!  Claire had her two year doctor visit and Blake went to daycare so it was just the two of us.  She was a little sad in the morning when Blake left for "school" without her.  She grabbed her lunch pack and went to the door shouting "me too!  me too!"  She had been sick all weekend though so I kept her home just to make sure she was better.  We had her 2 year appointment scheduled anyway so it all worked out.  I think she enjoyed having mommy all to herself.  She even got to push the elevator buttons without having to fight with her brother to get there first!  When the appointment was over she picked out this spider-man sticker.  I think she secretly wanted to make Blake jealous even though he wasn't there, it was kind of funny.

Dr. Z was kind of sad that Claire is growing up and losing some of her baby fat.  She has dropped from the 99th percentile for weight to around the 95th percentile.  He said she will start to even out now (as he made a sad face).  She is tall for her age though, not sure about the percentile, 70th or something like that.  Her new stats are 34" tall and 32lbs. 4oz.  I think we now officially have a toddler, no more counting in months!  The terrible twos have arrived!
