We made it back from our trip to Houston, Texas and all I can say is it was hot and that it was great to eat good mexican food! Ben had a conference there for work so we all went and braved the 100 degree heat. I know it is hot everywhere right now but when we got home it felt like spring in Rhode Island compared to the Texas heat. Anyway, we had a good time and got to hang out with our high school friend Amy and her family. Thanks again Amy and Andrew for everything! Here are a few pics I took with my Ipod, sorry they aren't the best quality!
Thankfully both of the kids slept on the plane...at least for part of the flight! Blake loved the turbulence. Every time the plane jumped a little he would say "Whee....mommy I'm flying!".
Went to Discovery Park with the kids and Amy's two kids, they all loved it!
Everyone was pretty tired afterwards, luckily we fit three out of four kids into Amy's stroller!
They were handing out free stuffed animals at the park (there was some sort of dog competition going on with dogs jumping into a large swimming pool) so that was an added bonus for four tired kids!
The mirror in our hotel room was good entertainment for the kids.
Claire was either practicing her tough face here or trying to figure out why that girl in the mirror looks so much like her?
We stopped by the convention to see daddy's poster!
Blake wasn't as excited as me when I actually found it after walking around for an hour or so.
I think we need another vacation to recover from that vacation!
