The title of the post is what Blake said when I opened the door to show him why he wasn't getting a bath. Which of course was followed by, "no." He seems confused and concerned, but still willing to bathe when a bath is present, so we're hoping we haven't scarred him for life. Well here are a few of the things we liked the least about our old bathroom. The fact that it's a little bit of everything says it all. The pendant lights, the countertop, the floor, the walls, the ceiling, the doors, the matching everything...I didn't want to overwhelm you all with ugly pictures too, so these are just a few, what a lovely shade of yuck.
On Monday they tore the room apart! It sounded like the bathroom was going to come crashing down into the first floor. Luckily it didn't. The only casualty was our thermostat, which they replaced so now we have heat on the second floor again. Here are a few selected pics of the same room...the same room.
And then today...walls!
We'll have more as the project is nearing completion, of course most of you will actually get to use the bathroom in not too long!
