Blake has figured out how to sit up by himself. It seems like it happened overnight. One day we were supporting him a little and the next day he was doing it by himself, well sort of. He still tumbles forward or backward once in a while but he is able to sit up and play for a bit which he seems to enjoy. Now he doesn't want to lay back in any type of chair. He sits forward in his bouncy seat, his car seat, and his swing. I guess he feels the straps are holding him back from doing his own thing.

Wow! He's an over-achiever already. It looks like he and Otis are going to be BFFs soon.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute. Blake was just learning to roll over. How did he jump ahead so fast to being able to sit up by himself? I guess he's following in his family's tradition of being first and best!
