Four Month Visit
A strange thing happened, Blake's doctor couldn't make it to his 4 month visit today because he was sick, better to stay home I guess, but he missed out on the big weigh in. As you can see, he continues to gain weight, and even though it seems like a lot, he is still in the 50th percentile for height and weight, chugging right along. His head is still big, but he doesn't quite reach the 90th percentile anymore. Oh well, that didn't stop the stand in doctor from making fun of the size of my head after pointing out that Caroline's looks totally normal... He did comment on Blake looking more like his dad though too, so I'll take that as a compliment. 4 more vaccines, and we're still waiting for the melt down like last time, maybe his new layer of blubber will cushion the shots this time! In case you missed it in the left hand column, his weight today is officially 16 lbs. even, and a height/length of 24 3/4 inches. Sorry, no new pictures to post with this one, but the ones Caroline took of him with the monkey and in the bumbo are so darn cute that they deserve to stand alone.

Wow! What a big boy. Blake has officially passed his girlfriend Audrey in the weight department!
ReplyDeleteBig head? I don't see it. Then again my nephew has a giant head so perhaps my perspective is skewed.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the size of Blake's head you should be worried about. It's the size of his guns that counts. And, from what I can tell, little Blake has the classic O'Donnell pipes and shoulders. He'll be military pressing his Cozy Coupe before you know it.
