Wow, what a fun weekend we had! We had visitors from the opposite coast his weekend (Aunt Kathy and Uncle Arn), and Grandma and Aunt Julia came back to see the newly chubby baby Blake. Although the pictures make it look like the weather was great the whole time, this was not the case. It just so happens that we packed in all of the outdoor activities into two days. Everyone had fun though, we got to take Blake and the family down to Jamestown, an island in between Newport and the west side of the bay. We also visited Roger Williams Park, on two occasions, one for the Halloween event called the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular, which it was, and just to walk around the park and take in the fall colors. On our rainy day we enjoyed the RISD Museum of Art, free of charge thanks to the old Brown ID card and the rather lucky coincidence that it was parent and family weekend at Brown. Who knew? Well, here are some of the pictures, we'll probably put more up later on this week, once we get permission from the original artists...
